Cameron can't understand plastic surgery

Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz is not able to understand why people want to have plastic surgeries to change their looks.

 

The Charlie's Angels actress recently said that going under the knife "destroys people's character."

 

"Urgh! Have you seen those shows where ordinary people want to look like Britney Spears or Brad Pitt? The Daily Express quoted her, as saying.

 

"What on earth possesses them to want to destroy their own character? To go under the knife to do that, well, it's sick," she added.

 

Diaz, who was forced to have her nose fixed last year after she started to experience breathing problems, insisted that she will never opt to modify her features, even when she grows older.

 

"I had to have work on my nose for a deviated septum but I would never do anything else. I think beauty comes from the inside. When I see women who have had plastic surgery I find it unnerving. All I can see is the surgery. The person who has had it has vanished. I don’t want to look like that," she said.

 

Diaz also divulged that she had no worries about turning 35 soon and added that being in the 30’s is much easier.

 

"When I was in my 20s, I couldn't wait to be in my 30s – and I was totally right. It's so much easier being in your 30s. You have a lot more experience and you know, if you behave in a certain way, what the outcome is going to be," she said.

 

"When you're in your 30s, you have enough restraint to rethink that impulse. And you have the strategy of how to get to where it's a happier place," she added.

'Romancing Timberlake has been like hell'

It seems that romancing Justin Timberlake has not been as fulfilling and gratifying for actress Cameron Diaz.

In a recent interview with Jeanne Wolf of movies.com, the Charlie's Angels star said that her last couple of years have been like "hell" and "so hard." "The last couple of years were hell. Like, I can't even tell you, it was so hard. I didn't know how to handle it," usmagazine.com quoted Cameron, as saying.

"But I think I'm in a much better place now, because I stepped away for a second and took a breath. Hollywood is a funny place. It offers so much, but it can also take a lot away from you," she added.

The 34-year-old also talked about the complications of overcoming prejudice against pretty people. "If a woman who's a successful actress weighs 300 pounds and has warts, nobody ever asks her, 'Do you think you made it because you're ugly?' So why should there be prejudice against someone who's had some success in films and looks a little better than average. It's all in my genes, so don't hold it against me," she said.

When asked about her Hawaii trips, the actress revealed that she had the most spiritual experience surfing there. "I was just there doing a lot of surfing. I love it. It's definitely a spiritual experience, the closest you can get to Mother Nature, which is God to me," she said.

Cameron also had an eco-friendly vision for the next Shrek movie. "For the next Shrek , I'd like to create the ideal kingdom of Far Far Away, where there would be no carbon emissions ... work an eco-friendly message into the story. Maybe the swamp could be in danger from an environmental disaster or something," she said.

Wear same clothes but not underwears: Cameron Diaz

Who says you cannot wear the same clothes for four days straight? Actress Cameron Diaz's new fashion philosophy tells you that the concept is archaic.

The 'Charlie's Angels' insisted that her mantra was to wear her clothes for days on an end, after which she discards them.

"I have a new philosophy. I always wear whatever I'm wearing, the same outfit, for four days, and then I never wear it again," Femalefirst quoted her as saying.

The 34 year old American star, who recently split with boyfriend of three-years Justin Timberlake, also revealed that she never used her celebrity status to get free clothes from fashion designers and big labels.

Although buying clothes herself does clog Diaz's routine a bit, she won't have it any other way.

"I actually buy my own clothes. It's kind of a drag," she said.

However, Diaz who has been partying with friend Drew Berrymore ever since her split, insists that her fashion philosophy does not apply to her underwear.

"I do change my underwear though," she added.

Cameron Diaz wants to be Big and Voluptuous

Actress Cameron Diaz might have the perfect body-type by Hollywood's standards, but what she really wants to be, is a "big, voluptuous woman".

The "Pretty Woman" recently revealed that she was tired of her athletic frame, and would want to swap her figure with a bit more rounder one.

And, the icing on the cake for Diaz would be if she also got some curves to go with the figure.

"I would love to be a big, voluptuous woman with curves," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Also item featuring on the blonde star's wish list is a "bootylicious" bottom like singer Beyonce Knowles, or even the sexy Jennifer Lopez, as nfortunately for Diaz, she hasn’t been blessed with one.

"I want a big behind but I haven't got one," she said.
