Renee feels she's Married to Clooney

Renee feels she's Married to ClooneyThe Cold Mountain actress, who reportedly dated George in 2001 and again in 2006, is such close friends with the handsome actor he feels like her husband.

When asked how long she has known George, Renee replied jokingly: "Oh, God. Twenty-five, 30 years."

George added: "Thirty-five years!"

Renee continued in an interview with W magazine: "We've been married for 28 years."

To which George interrupted: "Twenty-seven. We lived together the first year. There was a lot of fighting."

The Bridget Jones actress jokingly claimed they shared their household chores when they lived together, saying: "I fed the dogs and pigs. I vacuumed too."

Renee, who later in the interview revealed she has really been friends with George for almost 10 years, also spoke of her fears about working with him on new movie Leatherheads.

She said: "I didn't want to drop the ball, to be the one who sucks.

"He doesn't even know how important his opinion has been to me over the years. I don't want to disappoint him. "

George, who also directed Leatherheads, insists Renee did a great job on the movie.

He said: "In movies, so often the guy gets to be the one with all the answers. In this one, she's the smart one. Which was incredible acting on her part."

Leatherheads is a romantic comedy set in the 20s. It follows the story of an American football team owner who sees his new coach fall for his fiancée. The movie is scheduled for release in April 2008.

Clooney sells his kiss for $350,000!

Perennial bachelor George Clooney's girlfriends must really be lucky, for they get for free what some women have to cough up 350,000 dollars for - a kiss.

Actress Sharon Stone put the actor, as well as his Ocean's Thirteen co-stars on the auction block recently to raise money for AIDS research. As the cast auctioned off a seven-day Mediterranean getaway on a private boat, Sharon announced that the highest bidder would win a kiss from the star of their choice. The winner was Clooney, whose kiss sold for 350,00 dollars.

"If you bid, one of these guys will come down and touch you. And you can choose which one," People quoted her, as saying. As the actor landed one on the girlfriend of the bidder, Clooney's co-star Ellen Barkin then quipped that she would pay 500,000 dollars for a kiss. He obliged and she paid up.

The auction, which also saw 300,000 dollars being shelved out by Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Eva Mendes, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell for two songs by Kylie Minogue, raised a record seven million dollars for the Foundation for AIDS Research.

Clooney is 'Sexiest Man Alive'!

Clooney is 'Sexiest Man Alive'!
Oscar winner George Clooney has struck a blow for the greying generation after being named People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive".

The silver-haired 45-year-old beat out a host of younger rivals yesterday to come out on top of the magazine's annual list, pipping the likes of Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio for first place.

"Brad's going to be upset," Clooney quipped to the magazine in a reference to his friend and Ocean's Twelve co-star Pitt, who came in 15th.

Clooney has enjoyed a successful 12 months, which included a best supporting actor Academy Award for his performance as a tormented CIA agent in "Syriana," as well as a best director nomination for "Good Night and Good Luck."

But Clooney, who also won People's "Sexiest" award in 1997, is not sure he will be able to cope with his new status.

"There's a lot of pressure," he told People. "There are all the events you have to show up for. The sash you have to wear is embarrassing."

Clooney once famously declared that he would never marry again following his divorce from actress Talia Balsam, and was coy over whether his position had softened in recent years.

"Who knows? I've been married. It's not something I'm looking out for. The truth is, I'm really happy," he said.

Patrick Dempsey, the star of television medical drama "Grey's Anatomy," was second in the poll, while Ashton Kutcher of "That '70s Show" fame was third.

Others in the top 10 included Pirates of the Caribbean star Depp, The Departed star DiCaprio and Brokeback Mountain's Jake Gyllenhaal.
