I Hate Red-Carpet Events: Keira Knightley

Actress Keira Knightley has revealed that she hates red carpet events because people criticise her appearance.

 

Talking to Allure magazine, the 22-year-old actress said that she feels disgusted when people grade her looks and make unpleasant comments.

 

"All these people were coming up to my face and screaming, 'seven out of ten!' – referring to the way I look," the People quoted Knightley, as saying.

 

"And you think, you rude f-----."

 

"I hate red-carpet events; I absolutely hate them. I don't like the fact that people write, 'Oh, you look like crap' in print. Or 'I don't like your arms,'" she added.

 

Knightley also said she has self-esteem problems.

 

"I'm not Wonder Woman. I have self-esteem problems. Everybody does. You know, skinny people are allowed to feel s--- about themselves," Knightley said.

Knightley 's grandmother and great-grandmother both suffered from anorexia; therefore she gets offended when people criticise her weight.

"I haven't got a clue about how much I weigh. I do not own any scales," she said.

"And I have noticed it creates an anger in people who are not skinny. People like to blame their insecurities on other people," she added.

Rihanna Reveals her Nipplegate Fears

Barbadian singer Rihanna admits that she is terrified that she will fall victim to a wardrobe malfunction while performing in skimpy outfits.

 

The singer performed in Toronto over the weekend, and set men drooling with a skimpy dominatrix outfit with a matching umbrella.

 

However, she admits that she was worried that something would go wrong.

 

"That's the worst thing," the Sun quoted Rihanna, as saying.

 

"You have to go for fittings to make sure the stuff is pretty secure," she added.

 

But she also insists that she loves dressing up in racy clothes.

 

"In terms of dress, that's just the way I'm feeling at that particular moment. I'm just dressing how I feel and being more comfortable in my skin. I love dressing up. I always did, even before all this," Rihanna she said.

Playboy offers Pamela, Denise $1m to Pose...

Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards are considering an offer to posing nude together in an upcoming issue of 'Playboy' magazine for which they will be paid a whopping 1 million dollars.

 

A source revealed to Globe that 'Playboy' boss Hugh Hefner wants the actresses to team up for a spread in the January 2008 issue of the publication.

 

"Neither Pam nor Denise has committed yet, but they're seriously considering it," a source told Globe.

 

The pair became firm friends last year in Canada when they shot mob comedy Blonde and Blonder.

 

Both the blondes have in the past also disrobed for the men's magazine.

Anderson has appeared nude at a record of 12 times in Playboy whereas Richards has stripped for the December 2004 issue of the mag.

Sienna Miller upset with nude pictures leak

Brit actress Sienna Miller isn't happy with the extra attention the nude scenes of her latest film Hippy Hippy Shake has received.

 

Miller is very upset that her bare pics have flooded the net and reportedly, she has also had a few words with film bosses.

 

The Factory Girl star shot for the scene in Ladbroke Grove that is overlooked by residential flats.

 

On the day the sequence was shot, a few more than normal faces appeared on the set.

 

A source said that the 25-year-old is really hurt, and that she is reluctant to do nude scenes anymore.

 

"Sienna was really hurt. She took some persuading to do the scenes and spent most of the day in her dressing gown building up to it," The Sun quoted the source as saying.

"She is reluctant to do the rest of her nude scenes,' the source added.

I don't want to be England's Queen

Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton is having a 'wobble' over their love affair — because she is terrified of becoming Queen.

 

Nervous Kate sees herself as a normal middle-class girl and fears she can't match up to the expectations of snooty royal courtiers.

 

A close pal said: "She and Wills love each other dearly but Kate has just woken up to what the next few years could have in store.

 

"She is suddenly realising the enormity of what could lie ahead if she walks down the aisle with William.

 

"It's one thing having an on-off relationship with Wills, it's quite another thing becoming Queen."

 

Kate and William's romance has been rekindled since they originally split in April.

Wills, who is 25, said he wanted to concentrate on his Army career.

Within six weeks, however, the couple attended a ball at Bovington barracks in Dorset, after the prince completed a tank commanders' course.

Then Kate, also 25, was a guest in the royal box at the Concert for Diana in July—a clear sign the relationship was back on track.

And recently, say friends, the relationship has gone from strength to strength.

So much so that Kate has grown increasingly worried about where it all could lead.

According to latest news Britney Spears isall set to offer ex-hubby Kevin Federline a multi-million dollar cash-for-kids deal to get joint custody of her sons.

 

The distraught singer made her secret move in the Battle of the Cokeheads after Kevin banned her from her youngest boy's birthday party last week.

 

Britney is desperate to stop the tussle over year-old Jayden James and Sean Preston, two, from going to court because she thinks Federline will dish so much dirt on her that she'll lose.

Britney Spears reportedly makes her children 'unsettled and upset' because she doesn't have them on a routine. Past reports have said the troubled singer keeps the young boys up way too late at night so they won't wake up early in the morning.

The 25-year-old star didn't help her cause earlier in the week with a disastrous glassy-eyed and bloated "comeback" appearance at the MTV awards. But K-Fed has also blotted his copybook with a sex and cocaine orgy.

Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton has officially declared that she is not a lesbian, but added that there was nothing wrong if someone was.

 

During an interview with The Advocate to be published next week, Sean Kennedy, the gay magazine's news and features editor, asked the presidential candidate, "How do you respond to the occasional rumor that you're a lesbian?"

 

"People say a lot of things about me, so I really don't pay any attention to it," Senator Clinton replied.

 

"It's not true, but it is something that I have no control over. People will say what they want to say," The New York Daily News quoted her, as saying.

Alicia Silverstone Gets Naked For Vegeterians

Alicia Silverstone has stripped off to show how being a vegan helped her lose weight. The Clueless star bares all in a 30-second US TV advert for animal welfare campaign group PETA. The actress claims rejecting meat has made her both slimmer and healthier.

 

The clip begins with Silverstone sensually pulling herself out of a swimming pool, carefully protecting her modesty with her arms.

 

It follows with soft shots of the blonde star perched at the edge of the pool with her back to the camera revealing her butt and close-ups of her face.

 

The 30-year-old actress says over the film, "I am Alicia Silverstone, and I am a vegetarian", before claiming, "There's nothing in the world that's changed me as much as this. I feel so much better and have so much more energy. It's amazing."

The PETA ad' - which was directed by Dave Meyers, who has previously worked on videos for Missy Elliot - airs on Food Network, Lifetime and E! in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday (19.09.07), before being shown across the US.

Silverstone also appears in a poster for the campaign, in which she is seen sprawled on the ground in front of the pool, under the words: "I am Alicia Silverstone, and I am a vegetarian."

Angelina Jolie insists all those reports about her bedding dozens of men are untrue, and reveals that she has only slept with four men.

 

The Lara Croft star tells Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine that she is stunned whenever she is labeled a 'man-eater', for she has never been sexually promiscuous.

 

Jolie insists that apart from current partner Brad Pitt, she has only slept with three other men - Billy-Bob Thornton, Johnny Lee Miller and her first boyfriend with whom she had a live-in relationship at the age of 14.

 

"It was never true. I had only slept with four men in my life - and I married two of them!" she told the magazine.

 

Meanwhile, rumors have been swirling that the actress is pregnant with her second biological child, after she was spotted with a 'baby bump'.

However, friends insist that the rumors are not true, and that Jolie has been told by doctors that she needs to put on some weight before conceiving, for she is just too thin.

'Britney has nudity, drugs and safety issues'

Pop icon Britney could temporarily loose custody of her two toddlers following a declaration filed in court by her former bodyguard, Tony Barretto, alleging "nudity, drug use and safety issues post-rehab."

 

Barretto started working for Spears when she got out of rehab on March 20, and was fired on May 17 because, according to his high profile Los Angeles lawyer Gloria Allred, "He did not hear her when he was asked to pick up her hat."

 

In a press conference Monday Allred said that Tony, earlier alluded to as a "secret witness" against Spears in her custody battle with Federline, was prepared to testify under oath Monday but Spears' attorney chose not to cross-examine him.

 

Allred also claims that while Barretto, himself the father of young children, worked for Britney he became "very concerned" about the safety of her two boys and Allred raised those concerns with the County Counsel for Child Protective Services.

Meanwhile, Britney's manager, Jeff Kwatinetz, confirmed that he has parted company with the troubled pop star.

Sienna Miller Bares All for Hippie Film

Sienna Miller has been stripping off to play a hippie - complete with flowers in her hair - in an upcoming role.

 

The 25-year-old is known for her bohemian fashion sense and it seems that now she is taking that sensibility one step further.

 

In her role in movie Hippie Hippie Shake, Sienna plays artist Louise Ferrier, the girlfriend of Australian underground magazine editor Richard Neville. Margo Stilley and Cillian Murphy also have parts in the swinging 60s film.

 

The actress is no stranger to the era, having taken on the role of Andy Warhol's muse Edie Sedgwick in biopic Factory Girl.

 

According to the Daily Mail, directors of Hippie Hippie Shake have asked Sienna to change her exercise routine so that she can develop a more rounded figure for the role, as well as dying her hair from blonde to brunette.

One insider claims Sienna is 'perfect' for the part: "She is not shy when it comes to stripping off and it is little wonder."

"She has always been praised for her distinctive boho look and even without clothes, she pulls this off."

Sienna is currently still filming the flick in various UK locations. Hippie Hippie Shake has a release date of sometime in 2008, but we'll let you know when they make it official.

My First Screen Kiss was Great: Radcliffe

"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe will always have fond memories of his first screen kiss with "December Boys" co-star Teresa Palmer because she made an awkward 12-hour scene enjoyable.

 

Radcliffe, who has since enjoyed his first kiss as boy wizard Potter, admitted he was nervous when the day came for him to lock lips with pretty Palmer. But he insisted she was the perfect kissing partner, reported Contactmusic.com.

 

He said: "I was actually very pleased that it was Teresa because she has done a few of those scenes in the past and I had never done any of them. She was sort of guiding me through it as her character Lucy does with my character Maps."

 

"It was great. We started the cave-kissing scene at about four o'clock in the afternoon and we finished it at 4 a.m.," he added.

Britney flops on MTV's Video Music Awards!

In a crotch-grabbing, pole-dancing comeback, fallen pop star Britney Spears opened the MTV Video Music Awards, one of the biggest nights in the US pop music calendar.

 

Wearing a black sequined bikini and black boots Sunday, Spears performed her racy new single, "Gimme more", at the trendy Palms Casino resort in Las Vegas. The sexy, some might say vulgar, number was Spears' biggest performance since she put her career on hold in 2004 to get married and have two children.

 

The recent disintegration of her marriage and her subsequent erratic behaviour kept Spears in the spotlight. But judging by the critical panning of her performance Sunday it's questionable whether she can return to superstar status.

 

Justin Timberlake, one of Britney's former boyfriends, had a much better evening, winning three of the big prizes, including Male Artist of the Year and the Quadruple Threat of the Year, which honours the combination of fashion, business, philanthropy and acting or dancing.

Monster Single of the Year went to Rhianna for "Umbrella". The collaboration with rap superstar Jay Z also earned her the Video of the Year Award. The Best collaboration award went to Shakira and Beyonce for Beautiful Liar, while Fergie was named best female artist.

The best group was Fall Out Boy, while Gym Class Heroes were named Best New Artist.

Lip-synching and gyrating her way through the song, Spears' disappointing performance had threatened to overshadow the night. But broadcast in a nightclub format, with performances beamed live from VIP parties taking place elsewhere in the resort, the show managed to avoid the usually tedious formats of other awards shows.

Nevertheless, Kanye West was upset that Spears was allowed to open the proceedings. "I can't believe she would perform. She hasn't had a hit record in years," West said. "Maybe my money's not right. Maybe my skin's not right."

West, who was nominated for five awards, including male artist of the year, performed later in the show.

Nicole Kidman had recently revealed she was 'secretly' engaged to a man whose name she would still like to keep a secret.

 

She said, "I got engaged to somebody...but it just wasn't right. I wasn't ready. We weren't ready".

 

But chances are it's none but her ex-boyfriend Lenny Kravitz. At least there are such possibilities.

Actress Angelina Jolie is set to wow fans with her body once again after it was revealed she will be stripping down to nothing in scenes for her new movie.

 

The stunning actress is playing the mother of Grendel the evil monster in a movie adaptation of the classic tale of BEOWULF, and in one scene appears in nothing by golden paint.

 

In the trailer, Jolie can be seen emerging from a lake completely naked but covered in a golden sheen, contactmusic.com reported. The movie also has Ray Winstone and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

 

Jolie had taken a break from acting after the birth of her baby but now has begun filming a new action role and is eager to get back to work.

Nicole Kidman has revealed that she lost a baby in the early years of her marriage to Tom Cruise.

 

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the actress confessed that she suffered a "traumatic" miscarriage when she was just 23.

 

The 40-year-old actress further revealed that the failure to conceive and the desperation to have a child led the couple to adopt their kids Isabella, 14, and Connor, 12.

 

Nicole has revealed in the past that she had a second miscarriage when three months pregnant at the time of her break-up with Cruise.

 

"From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that's when it came that we would adopt Bella," The Sun quoted her, as telling the mag.

Kidman, who is now married to country music star Keith Urban, said that she is still 'yearning' to have a baby of her own.

"I'm yearning to have one. I think I would be very sad if I wasn't able to have a baby," she said.

"Keith knows I want one, and he has been getting there slowly. My husband really wants a couple of years, he said, 'Where I just have you.' So it's kind of romantic. That's what we decided," she added.

Kim Kardashian has dismissed reports that her infamous sex tape featured footage of her urinating on ex-boyfriend RAY J.

 

The release of the tape was halted when Kardashian filed a suit against its sale after the trailers hit the Internet last year.

 

Armenian beauty insisted that the footage features standard carnal knowledge and nothing else.

 

But the rumors of her participation in the bold sexual act haven't stopped.

 

"People were saying derogatory things... I'm not knocking anyone else, but I've never personally participated in that," The Sun quoted Kardashian, as saying.
