Tyra Banks sips nasty wine just to look Sexy

Retired supermodel Tyra Banks insists that she does not relish booze or drugs, but just holds a wine glass because that makes her feel 'sexy'.

 

The America's Next Top Model hostess/judge revealed in a personal web posting that although wine tastes 'nasty, to her, she orders it and keeps holding the glass to look 'sexy'.

 

"So, every now and then I'll order some wine at the table. I'll only take two sips, but I'll keep holding the glass cause it makes me feel sexy, but I still don’t drink it because it still tastes kind of nasty to me," Hollywood Rag quoted Banks, as telling the website.

 

The 33-year-old recently learned various mixes with wine to make it taste better.

 

"I recently went to Napa, California, and I learned how to pair wines with certain tastes, how red wine tastes good with salt and bitter things like lemon," she said.

With so many celebs entering rehab, one thing for Banks to feel 'lucky' about is that she does not have much liking for alcohol.

"I feel like I've been very lucky because I don't really have an addictive personality. I've never had any drugs and I had a little taste of alcohol when I was 12-years-old, but that’s about it," she said.

The model insisted that is a no alcohol girl' or a 'drug girl'.

"I'm not really an 'alcohol girl' and I'm definitely not a 'drug girl',” she added.

Former supermodel Tyra Banks says she won't settle down until she meets Mr. Right because disappointing relationships have left her heartbroken.

Banks has been in the past been linked to singer Seal and director John Singleton, reports contactmusic.com.

She says: "I want someone to be there because I want him there, not because I need him there. I never wanted to depend on someone. When we were filming the last season of Top Model, I was going through some man drama.

"Heartbreak is serious pain. But once you get through it, you look back at the person you were crying over and realise they were never meant to be the one."

Tyra'll strip to prove she's not fat!

Ex-catwalk queen Tyra Banks is ready to strip off again on her hit US talk show in a bid to quash claims she has become fat.

The former supermodel has reportedly gained close to thirty pounds since her modelling career began and now weighs 161 pounds.

Tabloids all across US poked fun at her after unflattering holiday photographs taken of Banks in Sydney, Australia last month (December 2006) appeared in style magazines.

They had popped up earlier this month on a celebrity gossip website with the not-so-nice headline: "Tyra Banks is Fat."

But talking to People magazine, an angry Banks expressed her resentment over the person who she believes snapped those pics from an unflattering angle

"I've made millions of dollars with the body I have, so where's the pain in that? If I was in pain, I would have dieted. The pain is not there – the pain is someone printing a picture of me and saying those (horrible) things," said the star.

The former Victoria's Secret model, who stripped to her underwear for a "reveal" show last year (06), now plans to wear the same striped bathing suit she wears in the holiday snapshots on The Tyra Banks Show next week (February 1, 2007) - to prove that sometimes the camera does lie.
