Duff takes chastity vow

If rocker Joel Madden is eager to bed his girlfriend Hilary Duff, he'll have to wait until they walk down the aisle, as his 18-year-old girlfriend has taken a chastity vow till she gets married. The pop star-actor has admitted she has never had sex, and gets upset when fans automatically assume she and Madden are bedmates.

"It's harder having a boyfriend who's older because people just assume, " Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Pregnant Britney eyes Namibia

Pregnant pop diva Britney Spears may follow in the steps of Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and have her baby in Namibia. "Deputy Tourism Minister Leon Jooste confirmed that he received a telephonic enquiry from Spear's office to have her second baby born in Namibia," the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) said on Friday. A tourism ministry official said, "Our office received an enquiry from the staff of Britney Spears," but did not elaborate. The star is six months pregnant with her second child with husband Kevin Federline, although entertainment tabloids have been hawking reports of an imminent split. The baby is due in September.

Cruise is the first celebrity to top the Forbes list twice

Actor Tom Cruise has been crowned the world's most powerful celebrity for the second time by US magazine Forbes. Cruise, the only film star to make the top 10, first topped the business publication's annual rundown in 2001. He came 10th last year.

The Rolling Stones are second, with chat show host Oprah Winfrey--last year's number one--in third place. But Mel Gibson and Madonna, rated third and eighth in 2005, are nowhere to be found in this year's top 100. Director Steven Spielberg, in sixth place, is rated the year's most financially successful celebrity with estimated earnings of $332m. Music legend Elvis Presley has topped the list of dead celebrities.

Britney Spears did it again when she changed her baby's diapers on the dirty floor of a Victoria Secret shop. When will the woman learn!

Britney Spears stunned shoppers and staff at a Victoria's Secret lingerie's shop last week. When she changed her son's nappy on the store's dirty floor. The 'Toxic' singer was shopping at Mission Viejo, California, this month, where she purchased some pink g-stings with eight-month-old son Sean Preston is tow. The tot needed to have his nappy changed and the 24-year-old plopped him down on the floor next to cash register. A shocked sales associate recalls, "we don't have cleanest floors. She just put him down and changed his diaper and then handed it to a sales clerk saying, 'can you throw this away for us?' "We told her that we couldn't put that in our trash."

Spears parenting skills have been questioned several times this year-- in February she recieved a visit from the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) after she was photographed driving with her son seated on her lap. In April, Sean Preston was brief admitted to hospital after he fell from a faulty high-chair while in the care of his his former nanny, last month, Spears defended herself again after the baby was spotted slumped in the back of her car.

Candid footage of Monroe unearthed

Forgotten footage of Marilyn Monroe at play has been unearthed by the little girl she befriended in the mid-1950s. The tragic screen icon and her husband Joe DiMaggio lived with little Dolores Hope Massey and her family in California when they were first married. And now the girl who became "like a daughter" to Monroe is offering up eight-millimeter home movie footage to new channels in the US in the hope of showing the actor at her happiest. The unseen footage, which shows Monroe learning to play golf with DiMaggio and the Massey’s, brings back wonderful memories for Massey. She says,

“Marilyn was an incredible person to be with. She was just like another mom to me.”
