It has been claimed that Madonna and John F Kennedy Jnr almost had sex, but they stopped because they didn't have a condom.
The singer and the son of assassinated US president John F Kennedy reportedly checked into a seedy Chicago motel in secret in 1988.
At the time she was married to Sean Penn and John had a serious girlfriend.
However their steamy rendezvous was cut short due to a lack of protection.
At the time they were too well known to pop down to the local pharmacy and buy a pack of condoms so they just called it a day there and then.
Rob Littell who was a close friend of John's when they attended Brown University together, revealed the incident to C David Heymann in his new book American Legacy.
Who knows what would have happened if they had just been prepared.
