When it comes to getting women into bed for a wild romp, actor Will Smith insists that nothing works as well as comedy.
The star insists that when it comes to impressing a woman, brawn, looks and money don't hold a patch to a terrific sense of humour.
"Comedy is better than muscles, better than money, better than looks. It's like if you can make a girl laugh out loud, you're in," Hollywoodrag.com quoted him, as telling Britain's Empire magazine.
Smith says that making a woman laugh makes her feel less pressured into having sex, and that men have a better chance of a spending a night in the arms of the women they are lusting after if they can make her laugh.
"It almost like the pressure of the laugh makes her underwear fall off," he said.
However, Smith admits that the same technique didn't quite work on his wife of nine years, Jada Pinkett Smith, when they first met, for she just didn't find him funny at the time.
The actor revealed that though Pinkett Smith now finds him "hilarious", it took her a whole two years to laugh at something he said, and that they had first connected on an intellectual level.
"We were together for two years before she even laughed at something I said! She thinks I'm hilarious now, it just took her some time to work into it, but we connected intellectually," he revealed.
"Our conversations were always very serious, about the world and how we can make it better. We connected intellectually and worked into the comedic side," Smith added.
